Since it is still the beginning of the festival, the overall atmosphere feels like it is just warming up. One thing to note is that the "Hangang Ramen Event" I was looking forward to is still in preparation and hasn't started yet. If you are planning to go specifically for the ramen, you might want to wait until the festival is a bit more established.
๐ Experience Zones for Everyone
There are plenty of activities to keep both kids and adults entertained:
- The Carousel: A beautiful, golden merry-go-round is set up right by the river. It creates a very exotic and aesthetic atmosphere, making it a huge hit for families.
- Balloon Zone: You will find massive character balloons that are perfect for photos. These giant air-filled sculptures really bring the festival spirit to life!
๐ Interactive Programs & Shopping
This festival is packed with participatory events rather than just things to look at:
- Treasure Hunt: You can take on missions and search for hidden treasures around the park.
- All About Beauty: This area is dedicated to K-beauty experiences, which seemed very popular with female visitors.
- Flea Market: There is a dedicated street for flea markets where you can find adorable handmade products and small props. It is very easy to lose track of your budget here!

- Food Booths: While the ramen event is on hold, there are still plenty of food booths lined up with delicious snacks. The variety is great, so you definitely won't go hungry.
- Drone Show: The absolute highlight is the drone show, where thousands of drones light up the night sky over Yeouido. I visited during the day so I couldn't see it myself, but it only happens on specific nights. Make sure to check the schedule before you go if you want to see this spectacular event!

Even though not all facilities are fully open yet, the 2026 Seoul Spring Festival is already a fantastic place for a weekend outing with friends, family, or partners. Once the ramen event starts, the energy in Yeouido will likely reach its peak!
