Our journey begins in Samcheong-dong, a neighborhood that perfectly preserves the quiet dignity of traditional Korea. In autumn, the winding alleys are beautifully blanketed in fallen yellow ginkgo leaves. As you walk, you are greeted by the elegant, sweeping tiled roofs (giwa) of Hanok buildings, which thoughtfully house boutique art galleries and artisanal cafes. Unlike the neon-lit streets of other districts, Samcheong-dong offers a slow, poetic atmosphere. Sitting by a window with a warm cup of traditional Korean tea, watching the autumn leaves gently fall against the antique brickwork, is an unforgettable healing experience.
